Made of choice of either Cedar, Oak or Cypress. Background is carved out leaving the letters raised for a 3D look.

Sign has a painted background and a clear Teak Oil finish on the exposed wood. This outdoor finish that will last for years.

A little about the wood types:
Oak (White Oak) is what they have been making barns with for hundreds of years. It’s a little light brown in color and is the hardest and heaviest of the woods. (This is our favorite)

Cypress signs are also good outdoor signs. We consider Cypress signs more rustic, they are a little lighter in color than oak however when carved they will have grainy edges and sometimes the lettering blurs making them much less crisp than oak or cedar.

Cedar (aromatic cedar) is a beautiful rich cedar that is deep red/purplish and has white streaking at times. Many people put this wood in cedar closets as it has a nice smell and keeps the closes fresh. This too is a great outdoor wood.
